Every Child Is Unique, Therefore Their Education Should Be Also.

Every child at Thrasher School House has their own educational plan. Children do not learn at the same rate in every subject at the same time. By keeping our classes small we are able to cater to the needs of each child individually. 

Athena Hammond is a Board Certified Music Therapist and incorporates the techniques used in music therapy in the classroom with any student that will benefit from it. 

Outside therapists are welcome at parent's request. 

Children today are lacking in many life skills due to the busy nature of our society. We spend the extra time to teach them to be as independent as possible. 

Children are not meant to sit all day. Learning happens through hands on activities, experiences, and plenty of sunshine and exercise. 

TSH offers a 3 day week hybrid program for parents that want more involvement in their child's education and a traditional 5 day week.  

Buddy loves to be read to and long walks in the yard. His passions are treats and scratches behind the ears. He makes his rounds daily to be sure that each child at TSH feels welcomed and loved. 

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math encourage collaboration and teamwork and help our students build real world skills. 

Gymnastics is offered for ages 5-12 through Piney Woods Gymnastics. 

Our rights as American Citizens as outlined in our Constitution have been slowly chipped away. We exercise our right to vote, ensuring that our students understand the importance of this right.
